FUNDRAISING

A big thank you to everyone who helped out and supported our allotment open day on Saturday 9th July, which once again was a great success.

We made a profit of £232.88. A big thank you to all the children (and the parents) who took the time to make scarecrows. It was fun to see them popping up over the allotment days before the open day. Competition was fierce and judging was difficult! The winner was the 2nd Patchway Scout group with Jorden a close second. The Scout group are going to put the money towards an abseiling day.

I also want to thank everyone for being generous with their tea and coffee donations. To date I have banked £41.56. It is great to see so many people making use of the meeting room, taking time out from their digging and planting to enjoy a drink with fellow plot holders. We are all getting to know one another and it now feels like we are a community.

Bacon Butty Morning

A Bacon Butty morning has been arranged for Saturday 18th June starting at 10am - see the News page for details

Table Top Sale - 27th November

Despite a very cold and quiet day at the community sale we made £40.10 for the funds.

Bacon Butty Morning

The Bacon Butty morning held on 20th November was a huge success, we made £133 profit, this hopefully is the first of many.

We have a Table at the Patchway Community Centre Christmas Tabletop sale next Saturday, 27th  November.

The Next Committee meeting is set for Sunday 5th December 10.30 to 12.00.The Committee have arranged a EGM on Sunday 16th January 2011 at Patchway Sports and Social Club 10.30 to 12.30

 

Patchway Festival - Open Day

Donations of excess produce, plants etc will be gratefully received.

On the Open Day we will be having bacon butties on sale, a plant stall, a produce stall, jams, books, cakes and a raffle. If you can help with this event please let me know. Also any donations of goods would be gratefully received.

Does anyone have a pop up gazebo that we could borrow for the open day?

Bacon Butty & Coffee Morning

We raised over £100 at the bacon butty morning.

Thanks to all those who organised it and everyone who supported it.

 

Plant & Craft sale - Patchway Community Centre

The Plant & Craft Sale in the Patchway Community Centre on May 8th was a great success.

After paying £32 for the hire of the hall we made a grand profit of £303. A big thank you to everyone who took part and supported the event and to Jenny and Amera who organised it all.

 

Quartet Community Foundation

Great news - the application submitted by the fundraising group for a grant of £5,000 has been successful.

Once the committee have had a chance to discuss this, we'll post further details on this website.

 

First Fundraising Event

Saturday's fundraising coffee morning at the allotment was a huge success - we raised over £100.
